- Competition ~ I haven't forgot that I am doing this, I am having a headache with it! However it will be here in the next couple of days....so come back soon.
- Trackers and site visits ~ still, all three of my trackers hold almost different information, but one of them is more reliable than the other so that gives me a whole range of information to know who is reading this blog, how long they are here for, what articles they spend time on, even their ip address (trust me, if you think an invisible patch or whatever its called is working, it isnt! I have been bookmarked in many places of the world, even in Gloucester but I still know who is who....as in, I know who in my world is on my blog. Its nice, its reassuring to know that people I really know actually take the time to read my waffle...but i'm humbled at those that dont know me take the time too, and come back! Hats off to ya :)
- New blog ~ not mine but Kirstens. She has made the decision to record more music and place them on the www for some (hopefully) constructive feedback. When we have finished setting up all the security settings and she's uploaded more songs I will point you in the right direction. Please take a minute to leave her your thoughts, so come back and check out the url soon.
- Watch it, Try it ~ As I attempt to help Kirsten make her laptop bag and top I will be taking intermediate photos and adding them here along with some simple instructions. I will also include any mistakes we (read that as I) make and any easy-to ways we come across. I admit its been years since i've made anything with a template of this kind so wish me luck!!
- My other blogs ~ All be updated soon, i've been too busy doing other stuff and playing catch up. I really need to incorporate these new blogs in my routine!! Feel free to play along. The links to them are at the top ^ there.
- 90 things out by 2009 ~ Ok so this is way late BUT the items are photo'd and they have been sent out to new homes. I will still post some photos though and link to where they have gone to. Photos are not of actual hand overs, just the idea's that we've come up with to do our bit for those in need and to ultimately declutter more of our home.
- Scrapbook Workshop For Beginners ~ Coming soon is a new workshop for anyone in my local area (unless you wanna drive, sail or fly!! lol) to get people understanding and started on their scrapbooks. Keeping your memories, recording your past is not only a way of your children/family remembering and knowing you but it is also a proven way of dealing with negative things that we all experience, kinda making sense of things to be able to move on. These classes will be fun, full and fantastic!
- Weekly Feature ~ Having spent hours reading through articles by my fellow Modern Molly Mormon sisters, I have come across so much stuff that I feel we all need to know. So each week, on a Wednesday I am going to feature a particular person and their article that has inspired me that week. Included will be a little bit about them and a link to their personal blog. Feel free to leave them a comment and check out their blogs, i'm sure they would love that!
That's that noted down. I have been meaning to mention those things for a few days but after the long winded waffle yesterday I figured i'd better save it!! ;)
So today is day 2 of snow. Not so much as yesterday but there's still enough for the kids to play in, and that is what they plan on doing as soon as Charley has finished acting out Pokemon characters. Is 4 years and 5 months too young to get into Pokemon? I think so. I have so far tried to keep Charley within the realms of his age, interests and imagination and that often means I have not allowed him to follow trends such as Pokemon, Transformers, Ben 10 etc and up until recently it didn't bother him. So what happened? Jay. Thats what happened!! We found a big box of videos from when he and Scott were younger and Jay, not realising I didn't want Charley to have them yet, put on a Pokemon video. Charley loved it. He hasn't given up on his Diego or Peppa Pig yet thankfully but I am seeing a growing child moving from one place to another. I'm thankful that Charley doesn't naturally display any kinds of aggressive behaviour or attitudes, but I guess that will have to come when he's in school and with other kids, kids different to him. For now i'm ok with Pokemon, i'm ok with Winnie the Pooh and Fireman Sam, but if he moved into the world of Power Rangers then i'd really have a problem. Those videos have definitely been removed from the never ending collection we still have!
Today i'm babysitting Pikachu while Charley watches the rest of the movie because apparently Pikachu is missing her family and only a mommy can make her feel better. Joy!
